My show just turned 1 year old and I’m proud of my lil baby! RIP to Cydney Edwards too. I appreciate her support over the years and I will dearly miss her positivity. She was one of the only members of the UW-Madison First Wave program who wasn’t entirely a whiny gossipy fraud cunt flewd out colonialist racist bigoted culture vulturing privileged classist cultural appropriating anti-local culture rat snake pig unit. They were much like my ex, a Latina female, who got a full ride to UW through its sister PEOPLE program, for being from the more advantaged side of the highway, who didn’t need to work at all compared to myself who had to out of necessity, who got worse grades in easier classes, who didn’t speak Spanish close to as well as I did, who was less involved in extracurriculars, and was a racist classist xenophobic abuser to myself because of her privilege. Almost all of them were and are low skill, uninteresting, placeholders. Cydney stood apart.
Following the huge announcement from the big 3 that employees of Ford, GM, and Chrysler would be getting pay raises, Honda and Toyota are now following suit and allowing their employees well-deserved raises. Americans are obsessed with cars and those that work in auto plants are some of America’s hardest working folk. I have always been a strong supporter of unions, and I take pride in Wisconsin, and the Midwest, playing a critical role in establishing unions across the U.S. We’ve had some other high-profile occupational protests in the state lately too, including those from nurses at UW Hospital and staff of the UW System.
Da Pack is struggling but Jordan Love is a phenomenal leader and he will be a great quarterback for years to come. He just needs to get some more reps and keep on his toes. Once the run game gets out of this rut and the field opens up some more, he will shine. We’re developing other parts of our team too though, and it’s important to keep in mind that we might be down this season but we’re not down bad. The Packers are a legendary franchise built by working class culture. We’ll be fine. Go Pack Go.
Google is still not recognizing “Mentally Enabled”. For those unfamiliar with institutional level scamming, this is a fairly easy one to understand. Pretty much all that should come up when you search “mentally enabled” is my podcast. Instead, you see almost zero of my podcast entirely. Not showing up in videos either. This is after a year of posting “Mentally Enabled” videos, sharing the show on social media, and writing about the podcast on my website.
I was also offered a full time job with benefits at WFAA just a couple weeks ago. That is supposed to start the week after I graduate from MATC on the 18th. That will be exciting if it’s true. Partially just throwing that in here so I can reference back if they try to scam me out of that opportunity for some reason. Wouldn’t be the first time a “legitimate” company has pulled that on me – not by a long shot.
