I like Big K.R.I.T. I think the central reasoning is that I respect his authenticity. He’s a part of a select group of hip hop artists that adapt to each record versus forcing the record to adapt to them. What I mean is, he puts a load of effort into each track. That being said, K.R.I.T.’s flow is Southern, Mississippian. He can deliver a serious message without being overzealous. There are problems in the world, but what can I, one person, do but speak my part. That’s how I view a true country-raised artist. I feel that shit.
I appreciate the progression of the tape and the diversity of flows, artists, influences and ideas. Definite cop.
