Future & His “Monster” Effort

I know I’m a week late but it usually takes me a little longer to look into anything Future does. Thank God I did though, so I could verify that it was exactly what I expected. This is what he comes in with:

“Fuck up your attitudes
Fuck all the gratitude
All my bitches magical
All this shit magical
All this shit radical
All this shit radical
All this shit radical
All this shit radical          x2

All this shit radical
All this shit radical
All this shit radical
All this shit radical”          x4

I mean, I can tell Future puts forth a lot of effort into his music, you can hear it in his voice. He gets some of the hottest Southern beats too. This is why he “goes hard”. The downside to Future is he really doesn’t say much at all, when you can understand him. There’s so much auto-tune on his voice, it sounds like he just discovered Garageband. He’s 30. BRO, LOSE THE AUTOTUNE. He has a unique voice too. That vocal effect is only hurting him, at least up North, where we rely more on talent and lyricism than vocal effects. It’d be different if he were trying to hit all kinds of wild notes but he uses almost the exact same melodic pattern on every record. I think if he tried to sing less and stress his lyrics more he could really put out some good cuts.

“F*ck Up Some Commas”, “Hardly” and “Codeine Crazy” stand out the most. The joint with Lil Wayne is playable. DOWNLOAD Monster here.
