Kembe X is one of the coldest outta The City right now! He has this “Work Week (Squad Day)” record jamming of course (January 4, 2015). The horns set the tone from the beginning. The kicks are dirty, but after the drums kick in at :45 it’s over. “I fall in and out of love, and in and out of fucks”, the “spiritually attuned” rapper yells over the big Bentley Hazelwood marching band instrumental.
