Dogs of War – “Fire”

Dogs of War dropped this heated visual earlier this year (May 4), but the words still hold true and will continue to hold weight so long as our country continues to compartmentalize the lower class and minority population.

For those that don’t know, Madison is the capitol of the most politically divided state in the country. These artists know the field and created the feel of this song to exemplify the meaning of that very chasm.

I met lead Dog of War emcee Tefman back in Mad City, right before he dropped the Feel Good Music album. He’s taken a turn with his new Rock-Hip Hop group and I love the new style. As a kid, I grew up on both sounds, since both speak to societal issues.
