Hitman Holla is one of the greatest freestyle battle rappers in the history of the sport. The St. Louis, Missouri native is a regular on Wild N Out too – the best improv show on TV. Yes, both battle rap and TV improv are largely scripted and rehearsed but that doesn’t change that this guy is at the top of the game.
He has a way with this gangsta shit. I know it’s an easy go to for many emcees to autotune sing something like “don’t make me go back to the old me” but Hitman is legitimately talented with rap. He’s educated and has a strong vocabulary, which shows in his lyrics, top knotch wordplay and strong delivery. That level of talent comes from a hard fought battle over some years.
