L-R ganged up with SNRS partner Cool Tay on “They Know”. The artist has been working heavily on his own material too. Recently, he’s been getting a “call for bars” – as he put it – so he brought a storm of truth with this “Rain” record (January 26, 2016).
I spoke with the artist to understand the concept further. “The rain to me means truth,” he says. “I’m out in the rain to cleanse myself of the bullshit and just vent. Hopefully my efforts will help someone else realize it’s ok to go out in the rain sometime.” I know they will.
Keep it locked for L-R’s upcoming 7-track EP. He’s prepping The Giver album for February 23. Rhythmaddix Music Group producers DJ Payday and 40 Mill crafted this one but Mike Regal is set to engineer all of the upcoming project.
