The Windy City emcee knows how cold it can get in The Midwest during The Winter months. The freeze up der is no joke. Folks die outside without coats. For that reason, the kind young man put together what is now a wildly successful campaign to raise money for a 1,000 coats for the homeless. The Empowerment Plan outta Detroit handled the plans for the water-resistant, self-heating jackets that can flip into sleeping bags. I love the idea yet it was the execution by the people that put together this money so fast. Hip Hop is saving lives in Chicago – FACTS.
Thanks to good people we raised over $100000 in a few weeks for #WarmestWinter We'll keep buying coats til the 13th pic.twitter.com/kLD9N7fNhl
