Big K.R.I.T. – “It’s Better This Way” Review

Listening to It’s Better This Way is like watching the soundtrack for the Deep South. Big K.R.I.T. is one of the most dynamic emcee’s out and he’s shining for his land on the newest drop (October 14, 2015). Nobody expected it but it’s here and just as good as Cadillactica.

The smalltown, Mississippi-raised “multi” experiments with a lot melody now but maintains as one of the country’s top lyricists. He does a Nappy Roots on “No Static” and a Too Short on “Shakem Off” but most of this tape is compelling shit.

KRIT makes at least half of these Cadillactic records too. He’s one of the coldest producers in the land. Big K.R.I.T. does Blues, Funk, Soul, Crunk, Trap – all that. Gold.
