Absolutely cold premiere project from Milwaukee born, UW-Stevens Point student, multitalented artist J.P. Straight R&B and dance madness with strong influence of the local Bow sound.
J.P. – “School Dance”
J.P. is carving out a unique space in R&B for himself. The hooper-singer has a memorable guttural but smooth voice. He is skilled at coming up with catchy melodies with this vocal instrument of his. On top of that, the artist does a lot of bow bow type dance records. I’m here for this new style of dance music. Like a Milwaukee Jacquees or something in that space. J.P.’s new project has a lot of fun songs. I like “School Dance” and “All I Got” most.
I expect this artist to be dropping more videos for tracks off this album. The multi-talent is a dancer as well and has been picking up on the videos, especially since he blew up fro m “Bad Bitty”. He posts a lot of dances to his music to social media if you’re into that. After you run through this one, check out his “Coming Out Party” project from earlier this year. J.P. will turn you up!
