Why I Rap

I rap for several reasons. I’m not sure which is most important but I know how and why I started. The first time I hopped on the mic was for entertainment purposes. I liked rapping and also performing for others.

The artistic challenge of being a rapper is attractive to me. It’s not easy to be good at rapping, even though fascist bigot oppressors and low IQ, unaccomplished, untraveled, uninteresting, pointless idiots say otherwise. The skill and originality it takes to be a talented rapper takes serious effort.

I also like many of the peripheral things around rap culture. The writing, producing, dancing, designing, and other aspects to creating are interesting. I like Black people. Hip Hop shows are different. Style is ever changing but always cutting edge.

It’s fun to collaborate. I’ve always liked working with others. Teamwork can really help a rap song and I think some of my best work has been done with the assistance of others. Quality people are hard to find though. Most humans out my way are a complete waste of air.

I love entertaining others too, seeing them smile and laugh as the result of my performance. It brings me fulfillment when I know that I have provided a fun experience. Knowing that I brought joy to someone else is something I enjoy and take pride in.

And even though I was ripped off by Quincy and the other government fascists for all I’m worth, ruining my life and my career, I have also found some monetary success through rapping. Just a few dollars here and there unfortunately, while I’m owed a fortune. Of course, there is no justice, equality, or opportunity for me compared to my peers.

I rap so that I can have a voice. For therapy, but also for hope of a better life. They’ve never allowed me a platform even though I’ve proven myself time and time again in different areas of life since I was a little kid. I come from a backwards thinking state filled with entitled spineless fraud hillbilly hipsters.

New music up.
